He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Tindall and Mary Hardin Tindall; and his brother James Tindall. He is survived by: his wife Holly Laffey; his daughters, Rev. Susan Tindall (Liam O'Donnell) of Portland, Oregon, Kathleen Kulp (Matthew) of Downers Grove, Illinois and Kelly Tindall of Bloomington, Illinois.; his sister Marcia Tindall (Amy Furman) of Silver Springs, Maryland.; and his grandchildren, Carter Tindall, Vivienne, Madeline Kulp and Maeve O'Donnell.
The family suggests memorials be made in lieu of flowers to Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington; Camp Limberlost through the Bloomington Kiwanis Foundation; or the General Scholarship Fund of Princeton Theological Seminary in honor of Rick's dedication and service.
