He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kidwell and Suzanne Kidwell of Bloomington; his brother Edward Kidwell; and his brother-in-law Charles Mehl Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Rita Swearingen (Mehl) of Bloomington; his children, Derek Kidwell (Amy) of Bloomington and Aimee Laning (Andrew) of Saybrook; his stepsons, John Swearingen of Bloomington and David Swearingen (Wendy) of Minooka; his grandchildren, Lorelai, Colin, Alexis and Caitlyn; and his siblings, Rebecca Kolleng (John) of Willmette, John Kidwell (Robin) of Bloomington, Tom Kidwell (Kristina) of Woodridge, James (Dave Burke) of Indianapolis, IN, Margaret Ethridge (Bill) of Little Rock, AR, Karen Nord (Paul) of Bloomington, Sharon Gates (David) of Eddyville, KY and Paula Mayfield of Greyslake. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Per Kevin's wishes, dressing up is highly discouraged!Memorials may be made in Kevin's name to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Central Catholic High School.
