It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Paul Bier of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Paul Bier to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence J. Bier and Doris J. Bier (Goestch); and his sister Debora Wieting. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth J. Ritterbusch; his sons, Steven G. Bier (Leanne) of Delaware and James R. Bier (Jeanelyn); his grandson Jeremy Bier of Delaware; and his siblings, Diane Meister of Urbana, Connie Witte of Heyworth, Cindi Warner of Heyworth, Ron Bier of Bloomington and Brad Bier of Iowa.

It is suggested that those in attendance practice social distancing.

Memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bloomington.
