It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roland Grotbo of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Roland Grotbo to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hokon Grotbo and Viola Grotbo (Vandersnick); his former wife Eileen C. Nass; his brother Alan Grotbo; and his sister-in-law Bev Grotbo.

He is survived by: his children, Chris Grotbo (Tina) of LeRoy, Andy Grotbo (Karen) of Bloomington, Scott Grotbo of Lexington and Susan Grotbo of Manhattan Beach, CA; his grandchildren, Anna, Julia, Bennett, Robert and Henry; and his siblings, Roger Grotbo (Rosie) of Minnesota, Anne Morrison (Gary) of Montana, Donna Haacke (Jim) of Montana, Oran Grotbo (Chris) of Montana, Terry Grotbo (Lorrie) of Montana and Myles Grotbo (GG) of Montana. He is also survived by twenty-two nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Midwest Food Bank or St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
