It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ron Farney of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ron farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ron is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Bloomington Apostolic Christian Church (4408 E Raab Rd, Normal, IL 61761). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Apostolic Christian Harvest Call or Midwest Food Bank.
