We are sad to announce that, on February 28, 2026, at the age of 93, Ruth M. Gearhart of Bloomington, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth M. Gearhart to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Gentile and Marie Gentile (DePastino); her husband Rex N. Gearhart; and her brothers, Daniel and David Gentile.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Rex Gearhart (Julie), Beverly Ann Schweinberg (Ron) and Paul Scott Gearhart (Becky); her grandchildren, Matt Schweinberg (Carley), Kelsey Collins (Tony), Kara Zdyb (Jason), Chrissa Silva (Leo), Michael Gearhart (Morgan) and Stephen (Emily); and her siblings, Paul Gentile and Becky Ferraro. She is also survived by her family and many friends.

The family suggests memorials to be made to East White Oak Bible Church.
