It is with sadness that the passing of Sharon Ashley of Bloomington, Illinois is shared. Sharon, born on February 12, 1941 in Atlanta, Illinois, passed away on August 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Russell Swearingen and Sophronia Fair Howell Swearingen; her husband Harold L. Ashley; her daughter Cheryl K. Ashley; and her siblings, Charles Swearingen (Dorothy) and Jean Penn (Frank).

She is survived by: her children, Wendy Schulze (Charles) and Richard Ashley (Anita); her grandchildren, Nicole Barlow (John), Alex Ashley (Jessica) and Erin Sallade (Armond); her great grandchildren, Kalie Justice (Levi), Morgan Barlow, Tyler Barlow and Ashlyn Barlow; her great great grandchild Charlie Justice; and her niece Mysty Thomas.

Memorials can be made to the Salvation Army in her name.
