She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Moser and Bertha Moser (Steidinger); and her brother Bob Moser. She is survived by: her sons, Tom Irion (Loretta) and David Irion (Patti); her grandchildren, Carly Irion (Tommy Chipman) of Bend, Jathan Schmidt (Elisabeth) of Livermore, Zach Schmidt of Knoxville, Rachel Irion (Guillermo Ponce) of Santiago and Mark Irion (Aisha Quas) of Chicago; her great grandchildren, Paxton Schmidt, Jaron Schmidt and Grey Chipman; and her sister Karen Hamlin.

“I was very sorry to learn the news of Shirley’s passing. In my high school years, I had her as a substitute teacher. In later years, I enjoyed playing golf with her and Ron, as well as seeing them at area concerts. My condolences to Ron and family for their loss. Deanna Banks NCHS Class of 1977”
