She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Giese and Norma Giese (Nuckels); and her sister Carol Grunewald (Bob). She is survived by: her sister Laurie Hockenberry (Michael); her nephews, Paul Sloan (Kim), Brett Hockenberry (Ali) and Dean Grunewald (Amy); and her niece Jenni Alderman (Greg). She is also survived by three great-nephews; five great-nieces; two great-great-nephews; and three great-great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left to St. John's Lutheran Church.
