With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Scott Glendenning of Bloomington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2025 at the age of 91. As Thomas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Thomas leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Glendenning and Alfhild Glendenning (Anderson); and his son Chad Glendenning. He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen Tuttle (Mark) of New Rochelle, NY and Lisa Doherty (John) of Gilberts, IL; and his grandchildren, Dylan Tuttle, Brady Tuttle, Hannah Doherty and Alyson Doherty.
