Thomas Manes Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Thomas Manes of Bloomington, Illinois. Thomas, born on March 17, 1967, passed away on July 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Marjorie A. DePoister Manes; his grandson Parker Schmitgall; and his sister-in-law Susan Bennett. He is survived by: his daughter Amber Schmitgall of Richfield, WI; his grandchildren, Paisley Schmitgall, Bentley and Kinsley Maas; his siblings, Michael Manes (Linda) of Hiram, GA, Teresa Allen (John) of Littleton, CO, Timothy (Beth) of Minneapolis, MN and Ronald Manes (Dan) of Omaha, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Lacefield (Eric) of Hopedale, Becky Sosnowski of Minier and Paul Gresham of Minier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
