It is with sadness that the passing of Tim Monson of Bloomington, Illinois is shared. Tim, born on January 12, 1959, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Daniel Monson and Mary Monson (Rudd); his father-in-law Lance Sterns; and his siblings-in-law, Andrea Monson and Denny Moler.
He is survived by: his children, Radley Monson (Tiffany Lowery) of Bloomington and Maura Monson of Bloomington; his pets, Sparky, Ellie, Loki, Westley and Freya; his mother-in-law Joan Sterns of Lincoln; his sister-in-law JoLane Moler of Lincoln, Nebraska.; Diane Paseka (Keith) of Fremont, Phil Monson of Olathe and Steve Monson of Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1617 E Emerson St, Bloomington, IL 61701).
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or to Normal Community West High School Wrestling.
