William VanderWaal Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of William VanderWaal (Bloomington, Illinois). William, born on April 2, 1942, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur VanderWaal and Dorothy Jean VanderWaal (Ploegert); his siblings, Arthur Johann VanderWaal and Carole Jean Coursey; and his son Billy Jr. VanderWaal.

He is survived by: his wife Lynne Ann; his children, Adam VanderWaal (Suzi), Scott VanderWaal (Stephanie) and Elizabeth Benson (Garrett); and his grandchildren, Wynn, Emme, Leo, Finn, Henry and Beau.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 3010 E Empire St, Bloomington, IL 61704.
