It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Ramirez of Blue Island, Illinois, who passed away on May 24, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jesus, Francisco, Enedina, Margarita, Santiago, Eusebio, Rafael, Miguel, Lorenzo and Marta.
He is survived by: his significant other Janet Espinosa; his children, Jose "Kukie", Marta Krug (Bill) and Pedro "Pete" (Marlene); his grandchildren, Armando (Michelle), Isabella, Will Krug (Bridgette), George Krug, Maria Krug, Elizabeth, Philip (Kristen) and Jim (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Devin, Sam, Tyler, Miles, Monroe, Gaius, Dalton and Henry; his sibling Misael; and also Mary. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Krueger Funeral Home (13050 Greenwood Ave, Blue Island, IL 60406). A prayer will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 8:45 AM to 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Parish (2339 York St, Blue Island, IL 60406).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to San Miguel School, 1954 W. 48th Street, Chicago, IL (773) 890-1481.
