She is survived by: her children, Thomas Gerber (late Barbara) and Diane Gerber MD (Howard Siegel); her grandchildren, Lauren Gerber (Raymond Gonzalez), Joshua, Harrison Gerber and James Siegel (Caitlin); her great grandchildren, Henry Gonzalez and Eleanor Siegel; and her brother Jerome (Mary).

Active member of Common Cause and a Director for Prairie State College Scholarship Foundation.
