He was predeceased by: his brother John Charles "Chuck" Tilton (Gayla); his parents, John Wayne and Sophie Elizabeth Tilton (Sommers); and his siblings-in-law, Jeryld and Velma Stanton (Williams).
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Tilton (Stanton); his children, Jeffery Wayne Tilton (Carol), Koren "Kori" Sumser (Rob) and Kara Tilton; his grandchildren, Kaleigh Groner, Nathan, Ethan Tilton, Kelsey, Zakery Sumser and Anthony Raspanti; his stepgrandson Jonathan Seibert; and his sisters, Helen Pettet (Roger) and Susie Wheeler. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews and some of his lifelong friends.
