She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Wilson (Cameron) and Raymond P Wilson; her son Steven Wayne Scott; her brothers, Bill Wilson and Ron Wilson; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Wilson and Richard Dement.

She is survived by: her husband James E. Scott of Bluford, IL; her children, James Michael Scott (Marcia) of Bluford, IL, Brenda Gail Lowry (David) of Locust Grove, GA and Natalie Michelle Capps (Eric) of Collinsville, IL; her grandchildren, Lisa Tew (Michael), Brad Lowry (Ashleigh), Jessica Hagemann (John), Josh Scott (Melanie), Amanda Irwin and Jarred Irwin (Christina); and her sisters, Norma Shreve (Bob), Margie Dement and Betty Hall. She is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren.
