She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Sandzimier; her parents, Jeanette Johnston and Ralph Johnston; and her sister Edith Anne Wilkinson. She is survived by: her brother Bernard Cue Johnston (Doris); her children, Greta Sandzimier (Jay Crowder), Amy Hunter (Marc), Karl Sandzimier and Myra Bertling; and her grandchildren, Jake Sandzimier, Lauren, Leah Bertling, Ethan and Ella Hunter.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to First Baptist Church of Bolingbrook.
