He was predeceased by : his significant other Rebecca "Becky" Jensen (Hyatt); his parents, Emma Jensen (Brown) and Peter Roosevelt Jensen; his brothers, James Russell Jensen and Alton "Pete" Jensen; and his son Joseph J. Jensen, Jr. (Joe).

He is survived by : his significant other Maurine Geick; his brother Edward Norman Jensen, Sr.; his children, Eric Jensen and Shelly Bagnuolo (Gene); his daughter-in-law June Sadlick; his grandchildren, Gene Richard Bagnuolo, Jr. (Carley Rae), Brett Joseph Jensen, Sarah Kathleen Gentile (Marcus), Jacob John Jensen, Christian Mueller Jensen and Michaela Mueller Jensen; his stepgrandson Matthew White (Sara); and his great grandchildren, Ronin Gentile, Aaron, Aaliyah and Aria White.
