She was predeceased by: her parents, Diosdado Carbonilla and Froilana Carbonilla; and her siblings, Francisco, Salvador, Justiniano, Margarito, Anacleto, Jose, Diosdado Jr., Liduvina, Clotilde and Matilde.
She is survived by: her husband Simeon Jr.; her daughter Maria Leah Comillas; her grandchildren, Symon Caesar Comillas (Marlene), Christian Comillas, Adam Patrick Manuel and Alliyah Faith Manuel; and her brother Dr. Dioscorro Carbonilla.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium (530 W Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440). A prayer was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (2003 Hassert Blvd, Naperville, IL 60564).
