She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Simak; her parents, Theodore Youngsma and Gertrude Youngsma; her sisters, Virginia Youngsma and Pat Voss; her brother-in-law Jim Smith; and her nephews, JT and Jordan Munk.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bob Youngsma (Karen), Jill Munk (John) and Kathy Smith; her adoptive children, Kiara-Jade Meckes (Chris) and Jaryn-Dean Simon; and her grandson Nicholas Meckes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
