He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Armstrong; and his brother Stephen Armstrong. He is survived by: his father Rev. Robert "Bob" Armstrong; his aunt Joan Murray; the mother of his children Laura Armstrong; his children, April Clark (Steve), Bobby Armstrong (Diana) and Timothy Armstrong (Stephanie Nordlund); and his grandchildren, Jacki Owens, Ben Armstrong and Abby Armstrong.
