It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Marie Case Ephraim of Bone Gap, Illinois, who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Koertge (Scherer) and Russell Koertge; her husband Ivan Case; her siblings, Jack and Patricia Koertge; and her grandsons, Karl August and Kris Case.
She is survived by: her sons, Karl Case (Kathy) and Karson Case (Sarah); her grandchildren, Kyle Case (Mariah), Josh Case (Katie) and Ashley Wiseman (Laramey); her granddaughters-in-law, Melody and Erin; and her great grandchildren, Konner, Katelyn, Kolter, Keaton, Ellany, Emersyn, Kaiser, Kollin, Markus, Ember, Rafe, Makenna, Clayton, Hallie, Jack, Sarah, Everett, Carolina Case, Lane and Gage Wiseman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eleanor's memory to One Mission Society, whom Eleanor and Ivan were very faithful to support and serve with that ministry. Donation envelopes will be available at the graveside.
