She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Smith and Katherine "Kate" Smith (Rund); her siblings, Maurice Smith of Pesotum, John Smith of South Wellfleet, MA, Mary O'Connor of Ivesdale, IL, Madonna, Hettinger of Pesotum, Joan Toliver of Rantoul, IL, Yvonne Ducey of Urbana, Imelda, Froman of Summerville, SC, Rosemary Schaeffer Norton of Frederick, MD and Theresa Delaney of Decatur, IL; and her brother-in-law Stephen Hlavach.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Hlavach of Springfield, IL, Elaine Hlavach of Champaign, Mark Hlavach of Pickney, MI and Pete Hlavach (Ann Duncan-Hlavach) of Elmhurst, IL; her grandchildren, Eva and Keith Hlavach; and her husband Stephen.
