With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Avery Jackson of Bourbonnais, Illinois, born in Halls, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Jackson and Annie Jackson; and his granddaughter Tammy. He is survived by: his children, Brenda (Mark Bettenhausen) of Tinley Park, Terry (Vicki Jackson) of Bloomington and David (Susan Jackson) of Bourbonnais; and his grandchildren, Amy Kessler (Jim) of Tinley Park, Mark Bettenhausen (Larissa) of Aurora, Terry James Jackson of Bloomington, Richard Jackson of Bloomington and Kevin Jackson (Jaeleigh) of Tennessee. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 3 siblings.
