She is survived by: her children, Tommy L. Parnell Sr. (Charlotte), Essie M. Smith (JW), Amar J. Parnell Sr., Janiece S. Hardy (William), Charjunita Mitchell and Andrea Fears; and her goddaughters, Timberly Brewster and Machada Cureton-Burtis. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
