She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Simington and Margaret Simington; her husband Oreon Roberts; her son Frederick Price; and her siblings, Bobby Simington, Earl Simington Jr. and Marie Simington.
She is survived by: her children, Roderick, Rachel Price, Rashad Price of Bradley, Illinois, Kaya and Rodney Terrell of Kankakee, Illinois.; her siblings, Gregory (Vindia Simington), Zachary (Joyce Simington), Eula Simington of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Larry (Irma Simington), Theodore "Boomer" (Maggie Simington) and Charles "Chuck" (DeeDee Simington); her close friends, Marsha Terrell, Gladys Butler and Equella Buckhanon; and her goddaughter Kadijah Taylor. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
