She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren A. Strohm and Anna M. Strohm (Rhoads). She is survived by: her husband Chip Chappell of Bourbonnais; her daughters, Kristin Strawson (Scott) of Bourbonnais and Kelly Hamende (Jason) of Kankakee; her siblings, Rebecca Holmes (Jerry) of Dennison, IL, Larry Strohm (Jeanne) of Marshall and Randy Strohm (Terry) of Springfield; and her grandchildren, Austin Hamende, Leah Hamende, Jenna Strawson, Evan Strawson and Nora Strawson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wesley Food Pantry, where Carole generously gave much of her time and which held a special place in her heart.
