He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Clifford Smith and Shirley Jean Smith. He is survived by: his wife Clodagh Smith of Bourbonnais; his children, Bridget (Alex DeWees) and Clifford Smith IV; his granddaughter Aurora Smith; his brother Michael Smith; his mother-in-law Bridie Casey of Ireland; and his sibling-in-law Niall Casey. He is also survived by nephews and niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maternity B. V. M. Catholic Church (308 E Marsile St, Bourbonnais, IL 60914).
Memorials may be made to the Kankakee Municipal Band and Uplifted Care.
