She was predeceased by: her aunt Norma Meets; and her uncle Joe Harrington. She is survived by: her parents, Donald Merritt and Rose Merritt; her children, Ashlee (Justin), Adam (Danielle), Amber and Alyssa; her grandchildren, Lane, Jaxson, Reston and RoseLynn; her husband Lorne Cordes; and her brother Shane Merritt. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to an animal, related charity of your choice, in memory of Dawn's compassionate and giving, nature.
