He was predeceased by: his parents, Merwin Rice and Janet Rice (Mann); and his former wife Jean Rice. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Rice of Mary's Chapel; his sons, Christopher Rice (Lexi) and Eric Rice (Darla); his stepdaughters, Ronda Emory, Michelle Kyle and Tanya Conover (Brad); his siblings, James Rice (Judi), Barbara Joanne Moran, Judy Harshbarger, Janice Blanchette (Wayne) and Kathy Haas (Dean); his grandchildren, Derek Rice, Taylor Rice, Ryne Gross, Clayton Emory, Trace Conover and Kayle Conover; his great grandchildren, Ashland Gross and Beckett Gross; his nephews, BJ Uedelhofen (Lynnae) and Richard Moran (Sandy); and his great-nephew Logan Uedelhofen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
