It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Hockensmith Laun of Bourbonnais, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Duane Hockensmith and Mavis Hockensmith (Miller) of Terre Haute, Indiana.; and her brother Greg Hockensmith. She is survived by : her sister Jane Hockensmith-Reich (Jeff); her pet Katie; her husband George Laun; and her children, Paula Johnson (Brent), Wendy Goodrum (Jeremy) and David Laun (April). She is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren, and 2 step-great grandchildren.
