With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry D. Buss of Bourbonnais, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Buss and Alice Buss (Lund); his former wife Sharon Buss; his great grandchild Noah; and his sisters, Linda Rankin and Patricia Denoyer.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Brown of Bourbonnais; his children, Cedric Tarkelly (Laura) of Cedar Rapid, IA, Lori Rickard (Tom) of Redding, CA, Deanna Frisbie of Wilmington, NC, Jennifer Tarkelly of Mount Pleasant, TN and Jolene Brown of Davenport, IA; and his brothers, Richard Buss (Janice) of Chebanse and David Buss (Teri) of Melbourne, FL. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
