She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Hale and Lelia Mae Weese Hale; and her brother Jeff Hale. She is survived by : her husband Charles Collins of Kankakee; her children, Charles, II (Toya), Ben (Tabetha Stringer), Derrick (Ayana Collins), Lance (Jesse Hale), Stephen (Amanda Hale), Hyland (Haley Collins), Tino (Odell Collins), April (Matt Norton), Carie (Jose Gaytan) and Brittani Collins (Levi); and her sister-in-law Sue Hale of Tavernier, FL. She is also survived by thirty-one grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
