She was predeceased by : her parents, Marie Whalen (Mulcahey) and Bernie Whalen; her son Charles Bernard Shipley; and her siblings, Bill Whalen, Catherine Elsbree and Pat Whalen.
She is survived by : her husband Robert Shipley; her children, Jennifer Sawyer (Christopher), Christine Johnson (Randy), Patrick Shipley (Shelby), William Shipley (Anita) and Wil Robinson (Rodney); her grandchildren, Kyle, Sean, Sophia, Haley, Sam, Charlie, Marie and Jack; and her siblings, Mike Whalen, Anne Neal, Jane Lowry, Mary Jo Macomber, Tom Whalen, Datie Wynn and Theresa Stout.
