He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Raper and Mildred Raper (Swartz); his wife Eleanor Raper; his sons, Gary, Rick and Randy Raper; and his siblings, Wayne Raper and Clara Goodrich.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Ali of Fort Worth, Melanie Denton (Vern) of West Frankfort and Tammy Lafond of Bourbonnais; his daughter-in-law Tina Raper-Black of Bourbonnais; and his nieces and nephews, Roger Fox (Shelly) and Robin Kirch (Marlan). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
