She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Kohl and Delores Kohl (Fields); and her husband James Howard. She is survived by: her children, Mark Steele, Brian Steele, Mitch Steele, Lori Lyons, David Smith and Jason Howard; and her stepchildren, Mary Lee, Dorrine Smith and L. D. Smith. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
