With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter G. Barisa of Bourbonnais, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on March 16, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Joseph and Mary K. Kazlauski Barisa; his former wife Sharon Ann Fortin; his sister Bernice Cotton; his stepdaughter Kelly Kendall Graves; and his daughter-in-law Susan Lisa Boschi.

He is survived by: his wife Lou Ann Barisa of Bourbonnais; his son Greg Barisa of Rockford; his stepson Tracy Storm of Kankakee; his granddaughters, Stephanie Oakes (Stewart) of Rockford and Katie Rotello (Noah) of Rockford; and his great grandchild Harris Bain Oakes.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
