It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wardie L. Starr of Bourbonnais, Illinois, born in Chrisman, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Darvle Lenwood and Imogene Starr (Yates); his wife Donna Starr; and his son Raymond Wiersema. He is survived by: his children, Ray Starr (Pam), Robert Wiersema (Candy), Randy Wiersema and Rebecca Smith (Ben); his daughter-in-law Brenda Wiersema; his siblings, Mary Nyssen and Larry Starr (Nancy); and his friend Brenda Sims. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
