He was predeceased by: his parents, Autry Efton and Ida Arminda Cauthon (Larkins). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cauthon of Bradford; his children, Cassandra Cauthon (Kuu Jackson) of Galesburg, LeaAnna Cauthon (Antonio Logan) of Galesburg, Christopher Cauthon of Fort Stewart and Alyssa Cauthon of Bradford; and his siblings, Sam Cauthon (Sue) of Galesburg, Tracy Clevenger (Matthew) of Galesburg, Jessie Wilson (Larry "JD") of Knoxville, IL and Hope Cauthon (Brad Harms) of Galesburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the American Legion (93 West Castleton Road, Bradford, IL 61421).
