She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Schindler and Lucille Schindler (Sturm); her husband Jim; her daughter Michelle; her brother Charles; and her son-in-law Tamico.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Rusesky of Gurnee, IL, Sally Swearingen Johnson of East Peoria, IL and T. J. Swearingen (Clara) of Mt. Dora, FL.; and her grandchildren, Tresa, Brooke, Jessica, Thomas of Christopher, J. R., Cooper and Kiara. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to Whitney's Walk for Suicide Prevention & Awareness in Peoria, IL, or Cabin Livin' Senior Care, 9641 N. 600th Ave., Hennepin, IL 61327. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Grace Swearingen 's name.
