He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Robert and Ruth Pauline Whisker (Sturm). He is survived by: his children, Laurie Horvat (Alex) of Antioch, IL and Larry Whisker Jr. of Decatur, IL; his grandchildren, Michael, Holly and Logan Horvat; and his former wife Marie Bennison (Hufnagel).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home- Bradford (217 E Main St, Bradford, IL 61421). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bradford Cemetery (Bradford, IL 61421).
