He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Mae Colgan (Muir); and his grandparents, Hobart, Mary Louise Muir, Francis "Hank" and Lucille Colgan.
He is survived by: his father James Robert Colgan; his siblings, Mitchell Colgan (Kathleen) and Kelly Puent (Charles); his siblings' children, Zachary Colgan, Chelsea Colgan (Matthew Casey), Nicholas Puent, Nolan Puent and Samantha Puent; and his great-niece Aria Krans.
A rosary was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (218 1st St, Bradford, IL 61421). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (218 1st St, Bradford, IL 61421). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bradford American Legion.
