He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Walters and Betty Walters (Papineau); his former wife Rosemary Jordan; and his brothers, Jim Walters, Sherman Walters, Mel Walters and Sam Walters.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Walters of Los Angeles, CA, Christine (Bob Throop), Gina (Michael Randles) and Jorie Walters of Kankakee; his sisters, Laurie Peppin and Pat Chaney of Tuscola; and his grandchildren, Courtney Pettygrove (John), Emily Subach (Matt), Sarah Ballard (Jake), Jamie Throop, Kelly Molohon (David) and Dominick Lambert. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
