We announce the death of Dennis R Schriefer of Bradley, Illinois, who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 86. Dennis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Schriefer and Genevieve Schriefer (Boke); and his grandson Adam Houser. He is survived by: his wife Joella Nolte of Bradley; his daughters, Denise Schriefer of Streator and Kim McIntyre (David) of Gilman; his stepson Kevin Crosby (Jeanette); his sister Donna Garrett of Carthage, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Megan, Dylan and Logan; and his stepgreat-grandchild Lee.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
