With sadness, we share the passing of Geraldine Simpson of Bradley, Illinois. Geraldine, born on May 12, 1934, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Geraldine for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Geraldine’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lionel Brais and Ester Brais (Bouchard); her husband Robert Simpson; her daughter Cindy Gadbois; and her siblings, May Nelson and Francis Brais.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Simpson of Bourbonnais and Jaime Simpson (Teresa) of Lexington, KY; and her son-in-law Kevin Gadbois. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (211 N Center Ave, Bradley, IL 60915).
