She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Springer and Elizabeth Springer (Wise); her husband Forrest Van Gorp; her children, Dee Dee Fisher and Lynne Ramos; and her sister Mary Jester.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Fisher of Bourbonnais, Michael Fisher of Bourbonnais, Patricia Elmer (Rodger) of Bourbonnais and Pamela Kenison of Chebanse. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Peotone Cemetery (6850 W Corning Rd, Peotone, IL 60468).
