We announce the death of Lela M. McCoy of Bradley, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 84. Lela will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Farrah Fairfield and Virginia Fairfield; her husband Patrick A. McCoy; and her siblings, Jerry Fairfield and John Everett Fairfield.

She is survived by: her children, Shawnie Pepperel (Gary Lambert) of Bradley, Todd McCoy of Indiana, Sherri McCoy of Bradley and Brett McCoy of Bourbonnais; her siblings, Amelia Wahl, Audrey Konemann, Doris Hodge, Marcus Fairfield, Dennis Fairfield, Nancy Windhorst, Raymond Fairfield and Ronnie Fairfield; her grandchildren, Destiny McCoy, Domini Pepperel, Shiane Jones (David) and Dakota McCoy; and her great grandchildren, Alexia, Jayden, Patrick, Liam, Maelynn and Mia.
