Marjorie O'Connor Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Marjorie O'Connor of Bradley, Illinois. Marjorie, born on July 21, 1936, passed away on October 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry G. Bertrand and Olivia Bertrand (Feller); her husband Patrick O'Connor; and her siblings, Leonard Bertrand, Roman Bertrand, Raynold Bertrand, Dorothy Granger, Viola Provost, Beryl Schmidt, Henry J. Bertrand and Harold Bertrand.

She is survived by: her children, Ryan O'Connor (Tonya) of Bradley and Julie Podowicz (Mike) of Clifton; her grandchildren, Jared O'Connor (Courtney), Jenna Lade (Preston), McKenna O'Connor, Alexis Painter (Jayme), Logan Podowicz (DJ), Emery Karcz (Peter) and Aidan Podowicz; and her great grandchildren, Jaxton, Lyla, Quinn, Maylynn, Mackson, Brooks, Brynlee, Braylen, Ellowyn and Clarke.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (211 N Center Ave, Bradley, IL 60915).

Memorials may be made to Bishop McNamara Catholic School or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
