He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Alsip and Evelyn Alsip (Weiss). He is survived by: his wife Marlene Alsip (Rice); his daughters, Lori Mahler of Bradley and Kristi Alsip of Cedar Lake, Indiana; his grandson Tyler Rankin (Cassidy) of Hickory Hills, Illinois; and his great grandchild Brennan Rankin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
